Rossat-Mignod meeting (2014, September 24 - 26)
The Rossat-Mignod meeting, which follows the thematic school Neutrons and Crystallography, have as an object to present an overview of research conducted with neutron scattering during the previous year in thematic relevance to the entire scientific community. Each thematic session will offer several short speeches (10-15mins) for young researchers to present their work in 2013. It will be introduced by invited longer an update on research in the topic considered contribution. A poster session will allow participants from all backgrounds to interact with each other and with representatives of the Centers French neutrons.

The proposals for oral contributions should be e-mailed to jdn.22@cea.fr before June 15th. They should cover recent studies that have used, among other techniques, neutron scattering. To submit a new contribution, please refer to this web page..

The French Neutron Society (SFN) wants these days to be an opportunity to:
  • develop links in the French community of users of neutron scattering,
  • provide a place where recent results involving these techniques can be presented and discussed, thus stimulating the birth of new fields of studies especially by multidisciplinary interactions
  • disseminate and discuss information regarding the evolution of French and foreign neutron centers, new technologies and their possibilities, problems concerning Very Large Research Infrastructures (TGIR)
  • open the neutron community to young researchers, in particular by facilitating their participation to JDN by financial aid.
