You always need to contact our secretariat at least 24h in advance for European Union people, and one week in advance for other nationalities(secretariat: 01-69-08-52-41). For an access to perform an experiment you must anticipate your arrival by 25 days for non UE nationalities and 15 days for UE nationalities. In all case, the arrival on the Saclay center has to be done from monday to friday between 8am and 6pm, and not on saturday, sunday and closing days.
From Paris, take A10 highway to Orléans, Bordeaux, Nantes. Around 15km later, leave the highway at "Cité scientifique". Follow the road 5km, drive along the Saclay village, the nuclear center is now visible 1km ahead (follow the signs). GPS coordinates of main entrance : 48.72965N, 2.14817E (decimals) ou 48°43'46.74" North and 2°8'53.412" East (deg. min. sec.).
Public bus
A bus stop is located at the main gate of the Saclay center (porte nord).

Saclay center has a second gate, that you may use only if you have already with you your Saclay Pass.
The gate can be reached using bus line 26902 from "Le Guichet" RER train station. Its 2006 schedule can be found here.
