Candidates must have a Ph.D. or equivalent in Physics, Chemistry or Materials Science and preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of two years of postdoctoral research experience in the field of Experimental Condensed Matter and Materials Physics. Special attention will be given to applicants who have a demonstrated aptitude in research. The successful candidate will be expected to lead the efforts in sample growth and characterization while maintaining the labs that are equipped with sample growth facilities and physical property characterization tools. The groups utilize neutron scattering facilities in the world for their research and the candidate will be expected to fully participate in this aspect of the job as well. The successful candidate will be able to work on several research topics ranging from quantum and frustrated magnetism to complex oxides, cuprates, iron-based, other novel superconductors and disordered systems.
