Please forward the information below to colleagues and potential candidates. Thank you very much Jörg Postdoctoral position in biophysics and time-resolved/in-situ neutron scattering The Institute of Physics at the University of Tartu, Estonia, invites applications for a postdoctoral position in biophysics and development of time-resolved/in-situ neutron scattering methods. The candidate should have a PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Materials Sciences, and experience with quasielastic neutron scattering and/or small angle scattering studies of biological systems in order to successfully participate in neutron scattering studies on structure and dynamics of photosynthetic and other biosystems using European user facilities. In addition, the candidate is expected to collaborate with partners at the European Spallation Source. Additional experience in either protein crystallography, optical spectroscopy or neutron instrument development would be a plus. The position is to be filled as soon as possible and ends on December 31st, 2023. Full consideration will be given to all applications received by February 15, 2022, but the search will continue until a suitable candidate is found. Applicants should send their Curriculum Vitae, publication list, description of research interests, and a letter of recommendation to: Prof. Jörg Pieper University of Tartu Institute of Physics W.
