A postdoc position is available in the Synchrotron Group (GSY) at the “Institut de 
Biologie Structurale” (IBS), Grenoble, France. GSY has a strong experience in 
crystallography applied to the design of inhibitors against health related targets. It 
developed several advanced tools for automated ligand screening based on simulation 
of X-ray diffraction.  
 
The research focus of the present project is the activity modulation of a Cyclin 
Dependent Kinase involved in the development of colorectal cancer. The approach 
involved biochemistry, crystallography and in silico design.  
Applicants should have experience in protein expression and purification. Additional 
knowledge and first hands-on experience in crystallography would be considered a 
strong advantage. The position is funded for 1.5 years.
