We invite applications for an Instrument Scientist - TOFTOF for operating and further development of the time-of-flight spectrometer TOFTOF. Responsibilities include cooperation with visiting researchers, conducting experiments and development of experimental equipment for the high flux time- of-flight spectrometer TOFTOF (http://www.frm2.tum.de/toftof). The incumbents are expected to perform their own independent research taking advantage of the wide range of neutron instrumentation available at the FRM II. The appointment will initially be limited to three years with the possibility of extension. The Technische Universität München is an equal opportunity employer.
