The specific task of the candidate will be to examine the effects of neutron irradiation on the mechanical and physical properties of fusion relevant materials. The successful candidate will be based at NCSR “Demokritos”, Athens, Greece. Qualifications Candidates with an MSc or PhD degree in experimental Material Science or Condensed Matter Physics are invited to apply. Experience on mechanical properties of materials, X-ray/neutron scattering techniques, metallographic analysis and electron microscopy is highly desirable. Very good knowledge of English, both written and oral, is compulsory. Application Procedure Further information may be provided by Dr K. Mergia +30-210-6503706, mailto:kmergia@ipta.demokritos.gr.
