Subject : Instructions of entrance in the LLB for visitors.

 

 

 

Access to our instruments is forbidden to pregnant women.

Entering the controlled areas is only allowed with long pants or skirts and covered shoulders.

In all cases, provide a copy of your authorization to travel to LLB given to you by your employer.

All access have to be asked by users themselves in our Phoenix portal by filling a StayForm (in left menu bar).

Samples control : French regulations requires that samples submitted to a neutron beam have to be traced. For this reason, for each experiment, a single responsible of samples is designated in Phoenix among people that will come to the LLB. After the experiment, your samples will have to be controlled. Controls take place on Monday and Thursday at 14:30. Samples may be sent back to you by post after the control.

Access to chemistry lab : If you need an access to our chemistry lab, you have to fill-up this form.

 

FOR A STAY SHORTER THAN 32 DAYS IN THE CALENDAR YEAR

 

Each participant has to fill-up a StayForm in Phoenix at least 25 days before its arrival date (15 days for European Union people) and provide for each participant all required fields. In particular, you have to upload your authorization to travel to LLB given to you by your employer. If you are a classified person regarding ionizing radiations (category A or B), you need to upload a valid medical certificate indicating that classification and bring with you your radiation passive dosimeter (film).

 

People working for French company have also to provide :

- n° de Siret de l’employeur *

- nom et adresse de votre docteur de la médecine du travail *

 

 

FOR A STAY LONGER THAN 32 DAYS IN THE CALENDAR YEAR

Please contact our secretary (experience-llb@cea.fr) at least 2 months before your arrival.

 

The use of cameras and camcorders are not allowed in the Saclay Centre; they must be declared at the gate. Laptops have also to be declared at the entrance. In all case, the arrival on the Saclay centre has to be done from Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm, and not on Saturday, Sunday and closing days.
